On VERY rare occasions U.K. and European collectors get the first bite of the cherry in regards to new batches of Hot Wheels even including non Mainline series. It was a great shock to read on the Lamley Group website back in early 2016 that a new Gran Turismo set had begun to appear in ASDA stores and so naturally I quickly had a look at my local store only to find they had sold out pretty much immediately! Eventually I did manage to piece together this range when stock levels got better and even managed a few duplicates of certain castings including this Ford GT LM. Fancy packaging and some truly neat bits of graphic design helped justify its premium price over a normal Mainline plus that matte black finish is truly inspired! I don
