Hitmonchan was a Fighting-type pokemon. Hitmonchan is a supporting character, first introduced in the episode Charmander Gets Punched in the Face. He is a Generation I Fighting-type Pokémon, belonging to Cooltrainer Gaven. Gaven's Hitmonchan made its first appearance in Episode 5. Hitmonchan was said to be near Level 35, making that he probably is Level 30 or higher. In Episode 5, Hitmonchan beat Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander. Bulbasaur got captured by Gaven.
