India made a strong comeback by defeating Uzbekistan-2 in the fourth round of FIDE World Youth Under-16 Olympiad 2022. GM Pranav V, FM Harshad S and Tanisha S Boramanikar scored the wins, while IM Pranesh M was held to a draw. India will face the biggest challenge of the event so far, the top seed Iran in the fifth round. There are no changes in the Indian team, however Iran has made one change. Turkiye-Red and Kazakhstan are currently in the lead with a 100% score 8/8. They are followed by five teams including India at 6/8 each.
