Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from medical school at the University of Southern California and did his residency at the University of New Mexico, before studying plastic surgery at St. Louis University. He went on to marry Adrienne Maloof, whose family owned multiple businesses including the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. Nassif was tapped to appear as one of the medical experts on the reality series
