Hikaru was streaming at the time and mentionned that this a rare line and he was surprised that Alirza knew it. He also added that Kc6 was not the correct move though. Correct move or not, it didn't stop Firouzja for winning the game after going around the board with his king (he made over 10 king moves in a 40 move game). We have not Alireza playing much online recently, which is a shame because he is such a great player.
